The Morgan County R-II Board of Education has moved its regular monthly board meeting from Thursday, April 17 to Tuesday, April 15 due to the Easter holiday.

The Morgan County R-II School District will be closed for Easter Break, Friday, April 18 - Monday, April 21, 2025. All schools and offices will be closed. School is not in session.

School will be back in session on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Little Tigers Early Learning Center (LTELC) will have a second day of preschool screening Monday, April 7. Preschool screening will take place on Monday, April 7th. Call the LTELC to schedule a screening appointment for your preschool-age student if you did not get the opportunity to have him/her screened on Monday, March 31. Students born between August 1, 2020, and July 31, 2021, are eligible for preschool for the 2025-2026 school year. Call LTELC at (573) 372-6261.

If you have a child turning 5 on or before July 31, 2025, live in the Versailles School District, and are interested in sending them to Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, call (573) 378-4272 to schedule an appointment for screening and enrollment. If your student has previously attended the Little Tigers Early Learning Center, you do not need to make an appointment.

The Art Club is having a fundraiser; order forms should have already been sent home with students. If you have any questions, please get in touch with MS/HS Art Teacher Mrs. Pawling.

 Elementary is winning against the other buildings by bringing in the most money at $88! Middle and high school sit at $0. Let's help the Art Club out and tattoo a teacher!

Four Versailles High School FFA members competed in the Missouri State Agricultural Communications Contest hosted at Missouri State University. These students placed first and will be representing VHS and the state of Missouri at National FFA Convention in the fall!

Ronette Edgar, broker-owner of RE/MAX Lifestyles, presented the Versailles High School JAG Tiger Brew Coffee Co. with a $300 check this morning. She purchased beverages for the entire high school staff. Tiger Brew will be making the drinks on April 2nd and delivering them to the staff. Thank you, Ronette!

Versailles High School DECA students went to Kansas City to attend the State Career Development Conference at the Crown Center from March 23-25, 2025. DECA helps students become leaders and entrepreneurs in areas like marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Here are the results from the State DECA Contest:
